There’s only one word that would describe the crowd that Evans High has, And that word would be CRUNK.. I mean seriously these Kids Were off the chain. The people who were in charge of the dance were out there with the students having a great time along with ALL the students.
They choose a beautiful hotel, and the decor’ was great, 4 Schools Only Brought out nothing but the best in club lighting, all the way to the best sound System money can get!
So check out the video, ad let me know what you think and leave your comments.
Perhaps the most stunning prom I’ve ever been a part of. Hudson High School transformed the Harborview Center in Clearwater into Club 0Nine, the hottest nightclub in Florida. Our setup was beautiful– I could ramble on and on… but you have to see the photos and the videos.
There is one really cool thing we have to talk about: the surprise concert. My boy, Thrill da Playa (from 69 Boyz) joined forces with the 4S0 2009 Prom Tour and we merged tours together for a few special clients– this one being the first. The place went INSANE! The staff, teachers, admins, and all the kids danced along with classics such as “Tootsee Roll, The Train, and Fresh Prince of Bel Air” as well as his new hits “Good Girls, Ery’Body Rock, and Slide.” OH YES THIS WAS A BEAST!!
Another cool surprise was Bob Moore Entertainment. Bob is a great friend and a swell entertainer– he brought in his new toy. A graphics laser system. Watch the videos for amazing shots!
In the VIP room we adorned it with black lights. That was all that was needed. Mr. Casey and his committee did a great job with the room setup.
Trust me when I say no nightclub in Florida has what Club 0Nine does. NONE WHATSOEVER. I feel sorry for the prom next door.

This was a Vowel renewal for Bryan and Pam Smith, Great people.. Really down to earth. I loved every minute working for them, The night went from Classy to CRUNK in less than 2 hours (like most of my weddings do). They choose some great uplighting and Dance floor lighting for there event, Made the room look fantastic!
I didn’t take video at this one but I have some great photos taken by KC Enterprises Photography.
I have to give it to Santa Fe’ High School, they were AWESOME to work with this year. We have been the DJ for there Proms for the last couple of years, but this years must have been one of the best. The students teachers and all of the administrators were great to work with.

James & Alisha created the perfect wedding today! They chose Lake Buena Vista Watersports’s Paradise Cove, which in itself is a beautiful venue…. but we got the opportunity to transform it. Using the in-house swags, we used lights carefully aimed at various sections to color the entire reception area with an Aqua blue (one of their wedding colors) while the swag behind the head table was lit up in their secondary color (pastel pink).
Floating above their heads on the swag was a custom made monogram. This one was very unique as Alisha designed it herself. You really have to see the photos and videos to appreciate how it all turned out. We also had the chance to uplight the beautiful wedding cake made by Custom Cakes by Linda (407.673.0082)… the plexiglass base shone bright!
Now, my dear brides & grooms.. Alisha & James had some GREAT ideas that turn into AMAZING wedding tips. Let’s discuss, shall we?
Use your surroundings! For the ceremony, the groomsmen arrived on a boat. It was awesome!
GO ALL OUT! Mr. and Mrs. Borelli added a unique touch by including a white dove release. Some may say “it’s played out” but in all my years of being an MC, this is the second time I’ve seen it done. NICE!
Design your own monogram! We’ll help you (some DJs won’t… but that’s them, haha)
Guys– do something romantic and funny! James and his crew sang “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” a la “Top Gun” style!
Oh yes, I have to tell you about the food! Charles Putney, Event Designer of Arthur’s Catering, did an amazing job with the food. He and his staff were amazing to work with and created some AMAZING dishes. My favorite was the Coconut Shrimp! Theirs was the best I’ve had! I’ve work with so many wonderful couples who allow me the honor of partaking in the celebration by sharing dinner with the guests… so I’ve learned a thing or two about good eating… and the shrimp was phenomenal!!

This wedding was for Erica And Randall Metzger, I met with Erica and Her Mother months before the wedding date to talk about what kind of DJ they were looking for, you know so I knew one kind of DJ to sell her. She talked about wanting a very Hyper DJ that loves to have fun and isn’t afraid to come out of his shell, They wanted a large mix between the Oldie to the now. After talking more about it with them I knew this was a wedding for me, I clicked with these people right off the Bat. We both shared the same passion for music and liked the same stuff here’s what they got…

And Me of Coarse!!
All in all the night went wonderful and everyone had a Blast thanks Erica and Randall.
Me and Kelly were invited to DJ at Cypresswood’s Golf and Country Club St. Patty’s Day Dance. The evening started off with dinner that consisted of Irish favorites; Corn Beef and Cabbage, Lamb Stew, and assortment of other goodies. The decor and dress were very festive as everyone was asked to come dress in green. The had us draw some tickets for their raffle and gave away some spirits and cold hard cash (all of it green, lol).
When the dancing started, we played a variety of oldies, ballroom dance music, participation dances, and even some current favorites. While the amount of guest that attended wasn’t large, this group had heart and wanted to have fun. It was a wonderful evening and we look forward to being asked back again for their next function.

This event was a Corporate Party for Sun N Fun, the night started out with a lot of talking a BIG dinner, and lots of give-a-ways and then they past it over to me, And then those peopel just let loose. I had a lot of fun with these people, it was a great group to work with. When I first talked to Megan she told me that she wanted all 50s and 60s and Motown, you know all the Golden Oldies. With those three Great genres of music to work with we had a BLAST!
This wedding was for Glenda and Casey Patterson, this couple new when they met with me the first time that we were going to have a great time with there reception. Glenda, Casey and myself met in Orlando and went over how to turn there wedding Reception, into there DREAM reception. It was hype from start to finish, very high energy the whole time, they also had a great play list for me to work from, everything from the 80’s to today’s music, people danced the whole time it was a lot of fun for the youngest person to the oldest person in the house, Reception = Success
